The department was established in 1989 with an aim to nurture competent and capable experts in bio industry and biotechnology, a core of 21st century cutting-edge science. The main focus has been shifted from IT to BT in the 21st century worldwide. Biotechnology is at the heart of the academic and industrial trends. We established an educational goal to meet the academic needs of current society and social needs for experts and industrial workforce. We do our best to produce experts who are equipped with basic knowledge and application technologies in biotechnology.
