People create space and space influences people. Interior designers are those who create interior space and environments suited to people’s life. Konkuk produces these designers. With the longest history in interior design education in Korea, the Department of Interior Design, Konkuk University has produced outstanding individuals for our society and has achieved great performances both at domestic and overseas competitions. We aim to produce leaders of the future space culture by assisting them to enhance capabilities to create an interior environment with high artistic, functional and technological values through creative and logical way of thinking. The curriculum is based on understanding spaces by purpose and humans as users of these spaces.
