The Department of English Language and Culture aims to cultivate future leaders and talents in the globalized world by offering various courses relating to the English language, English linguistics, and British and American literature, in which students are able to improve their English language competence and expand relevant linguistic and cultural knowledge.

English Linguistics is a linguistic analysis of English. Through this major, students will gain a deep knowledge of English and become fluent in English. In addition, through English-American culture and native English conversation and composition, it will be possible to have a deep understanding of culture as well as being able to acquire fluent English.

After graduation, students who have grown up into progressive and proactive talents that fit the international community will be able to demonstrate their abilities through English education, cultural coordinating, service businesses, trading companies, and overseas employment.
