Founded in 1999, the Department of Early Childhood Education at Konkuk University is committed to nurturing students as creative and competent early childhood educators. Students will have the qualities and abilities of an excellent early childhood teacher through the theoretical learning of early childhood education and practical training at kindergarten and day care center during their school years. In addition, they receive both kindergarten teacher certification and childcare teacher certification at the time of graduation, so job opportunities open to daycare centers as well as kindergartens.
